Twitter Workshop To Benefit Local Charity

April 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Jacksonville, Fla. – Gielow Marketing & PR is hosting “Tweet For Dreams,” a donation only Twitter workshop for Jacksonville businesses, May 9 at the University of North Florida, with all proceeds benefitting Dreams Come True AngelLove: the Carson Patton Benefit.

For a minimum donation of $35, attendees will have the opportunity to learn the tips and tricks of how to manage their business’ Twitter the most effective way possible. Social media experts will be on-hand to inform attendees of various industries exactly how to take advantage of the popular social media platform. After the workshop, Sonja Dyess, CEO of Gielow Marketing & PR, will open the floor for any and all social media related questions.

“It is a joy to be given the opportunity to better the success of Jacksonville businesses while raising funds for a cause that is near and dear to my heart,” said Dyess.

Dreams Come True AngelLove: the Carson Patton Benefit is a local organization that gives children battling with life-threatening illnesses a chance to realize their dreams, big and small. AngelLove works with them to provide the “little pleasures” in life such as take-out dinners for the family of an ill child or a handheld video game for the child to play during treatment.

“Tweet For Dreams” will be held at 8:15 a.m. in the UNF Student Union (building number 58W).
