IT Authorities Named a Finalist in Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2012 “Best Place to Work”

April 18, 2012 - PRLog -- TAMPA, Fla.— IT Authorities, a cloud computing and managed services provider, has been named as a finalist for the Tampa Bay Business Journal  2012 Best Place to Work award.  

IT Authorities has been honored as one of the best places to work in Tampa for five consecutive years, two of which they were selected as best overall.  This year they are recognized in the “Big” category that consists of companies with 26-50 employees.

“Every single employee is considered to be in a leadership position. Everyone is tasked with carrying the torch of the culture that has been built and strengthened over the years.  It truly is an honor earned by all of employees for their relentless contribution to the culture and their sincere pride which endures,” said Jason Pollner, co-CEO.  

The employees of companies nominated for the award were asked to complete an online survey conducted by Quantum Workplace. The surveys were done anonymously and consisted of 37 questions. The survey evaluated team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness and compensation and benefits. Each company was then given an overall score based on the responses. Winners will be selected based on the highest score in each company size category.

According to Pollner, IT Authorities’ culture revolves around seven human needs: certainty and comfort, variety and significance, connection, and appreciation. The open floor environment of ITA helps to foster this culture, promoting open communication and an exciting, lively atmosphere.  At IT Authorities personal and professional growth is paramount to their culture.
