Ingrid says: "I am extremely grateful to CISI Educational Trust and the Stephen Cook Scholarship Programme for their support. The money will contribute to my tuition and help me finance my study in London. "This award recognises my efforts and sets an example to Latin American students who want to obtain an outstanding quality of education in England. Receiving this scholarship shows that hard-working and determined students are often supported." Ingrid is the second student from Cass to win The Stephen Cooke Scholarship - International Accounting and Finance MSc (http://www.cass.city.ac.uk/ Ingrid, from Ecuador has a BSc in Finance from the USA. She set up a small business in Ecuador a year and a half ago and continues to contribute to the business by giving back office support to her partner. The Stephen Cooke Scholarship is open to students of financial subjects at accredited CISI centres of excellence in the UK. Cass has been an accredited centre of excellence since May 2007. Centres of excellence are a select group of UK universities, recognised by the CISI as offering leadership in academic education on financial markets. The Stephen Cooke Scholarship was established in 1999 following Stephen’s death at a young age in 1997.
