Leading Industrial Equipment Supplier Attended Orlando Precast Show

March 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Leading industrial equipment supplier, Gulf Atlantic Industrial Equipment, attended The Precast Show in Orlando, Florida in early March and worked with manufacturers exhibiting at the show – Cougar Vibration, Sicoma North America and Hydronix, Ltd.
 
The Precast Show is an event that annually brings together under one roof networking opportunities for producers of precast and/or prestressed concrete products as well as distributors and suppliers of concrete products and equipment.
 
“Working with manufacturer's representatives gave our staff opportunity to increase their product knowledge,” said Stan Moore, founder of Gulf Atlantic. “In addition to meeting with customer and reviewing products, our staff was able to to also engage in evolving technology training enabling us to be able to address equipment needs from form vibrators, vibratory tables to planetary and  shaft mixers.”
 
Featured at the show was a Sicoma Model MP375 Mobile Planetary Mixer with Skip Hoist. This is considered the perfect mixer for small operations such as burial vault companies, septic tank companies and small precast operations for the production of products such as parking stops and and concrete stairs.
 
Just across the aisle from the Sicoma mixer was the Cougar Exhibit which included a vibratory table for product densification in packing systems.  Also available were the Cougar electric and pneumatic vibrators as well as the Martin Engineering air cannons.
 
Hydronix Moisture Probes were on display and when coupled to a mixer enables greater control over the slump or movement of product to allow for a consistent mix.
 
 The next Precast Show will be held January 11 – 13, 2013 in Indianapolis, IN.
