This landmark symposium serves as the foundation for the group’s comprehensive youth focused outreach and educational initiatives that will take place starting in May 2012. “We have created a series of educational and cultural enrichment workshops with a commitment to provide a blueprint to empower the youth ambassadors of our future. We are grateful for the collective team of individual, organizations and sponsors who have come together to help provide resources, inspiration and guidance for the young people of South Florida,” states Chairman Shevrin Jones. Featured performances include the Miami Carol City High School Pep Band and Dancers. Spoken word artist Dichotomy will inspire the kids through poetry and spoken word, along with gospel singer Malcolm Hawkins.
