Bowling and Facebook – A Great Combination!

March 2, 2012 - PRLog -- During the month of March, W.J. Wheeler Insurance Agency will be partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Community Concepts through their popular “Facebook Like Contest”.  For every new “like” on the agency’s page, they will donate $1, up to $500 to Community Concepts!  The contest will culminate with the Bowling for Kid’s Sake event that takes place on Saturday, March 24 at Hobbs Lucky Lanes, in South Paris!  W.J. Wheeler will not only be bowling, but will be giving you the opportunity to “like” their Facebook page right at the lanes!

Community Concepts is a Community Action Agency that has served families and individuals in need in Western Maine since 1965.  Their mission is to provide leadership, education and support to build thriving individuals, families and communities.  Last year alone, they served over 25,000 families and businesses!  

W.J. Wheeler is particularly excited about Community Concepts’ Big Brothers Big Sisters program.  Big Brothers Big Sisters provides children facing adversity with caring mentors who help provide individual guidance and support.  They use professional staff to conduct careful screening and matching of community volunteers and ongoing training and support of the Big and Little match.
