Whiskey and Prozac releases a Class Rock single "On the Outside"

Whiskey and Prozac rose from the ashes of Jeff Boll, Andre Robinson and Gary Deming’s last band.  In its wake, Jeff began writing new material.  Old band mates and friends were soon drawn to this new sound and saw a lot of potential in what they heard.  The strength of the material along with the growth of Jeff’s production and recording skills, made the need to form a new band abundantly obvious.  Having built a state of the art recording studio called Milfoil Shoals, written new material and formed a killer band filled with fabulous musicians and old friends, the band was ready for takeoff.

Whiskey and Prozac have been actively working on bringing their vision to life.  Working in their studio on their latest project is a work in progress and a labor of love.  Periodically they will release a song or a set of songs to increase awareness of what’s yet to come.  The art of creating such dynamic music takes precision, time and dedication.  

Whiskey and Prozac is happy to announce the release of their hit single “On the Outside”.  This song examines and describes a feeling of being disconnected due to circumstances beyond your control.  “After experiencing a lot of loss in life, I sort of withdrew into music”, states Jeff Boll.  “In some ways I began to feel this sense of isolation from normal society.  This song is the embodiment of that feeling”.   This song has a cool rhythm to it with raw vocals that tell the tale of being on the outside looking in.  This single along with other songs on this album carries a similar emotion and content.  It’s either the feeling of anguish or joy and in times wonder whether you’ve become a voyeur. All the songs fall in line with these emotions and in totality they have created a solid rock album that unite all the songs and bring audiences a true, authentic sound.

Whiskey and Prozac wants their fans to experience what they’ve experienced.  Whether it’s triumph or tragedy, they have the talent to bring it forward.  They are brilliant lyricists, storytellers, musicians and showmen.  Their fluid melodies, expressive guitar hooks and outstanding solos make them stand out from others in their genre.  

Several band members have opened the main stage at Moondance Jam, a large outdoor multi-national rock festival that averages 18,000 fans in attendance daily.  They have also opened for Kenny Wayne Shepherd, The Bangles, Poison, Edgar Winter, Rick Derringer, The Outlaws, Corey Stevens, Mark Farner from Grand Funk Railroad, Savoy Brown, Crow and Iron Butterfly.  

They are currently working shows in the Minneapolis area and have their eye on venturing out.
