Looking Glam at the Grammys: Adele

Feb. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- After winning six awards at the Grammys and being coveted for the front cover of the March edition of Vogue; February has turned out to be quite a month for British soul singer Adele.
At the Grammy Awards last weekend, Adele won awards in all six of the categories that she was nominated in, including Record of the Year for Rolling in the Deep and Album of the Year for 21.
Adele looked radiant in a custom made black sequined Giorgio Armani dress. To compliment her look, Adele showed off her new shorter and blonder hair style which was styled into soft waves. Her skin was flawless, her eyes were subtly defined and her lips were coated in a bright Hollywood red.

You’re extremely lucky if you have been blessed with flawless skin, unfortunately for most of us, we need a little help to create the perfect look. Use a full coverage matte foundation, but be careful not to apply it too thick. Use a liquid foundation as a base, if you have particularly oily skin then add a top layer of powder.
Bright red lipstick won’t suit everyone, dark red and crimson shades may be a safer option. Whatever you choose, make sure your lips are moisturized before applying the lipstick, cracked dry lips is never a good look.
If you do decide on a red lip colour, make sure the rest of your makeup is fairly subtle; your lips will be the main focus point. Adele has achieved this by using a natural colour eye shadow and eyelash extensions to define her eyes.
