Identity Systems Wins Six Pianko Print Excellence Awards In Three Categories

Feb. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Identity Systems, Inc. (Columbus, Ohio) is proud to announce that all 6 of its entries in the 2011 Print Excellence Awards from the Printing Industries Association, Inc., serving northern Kentucky and Ohio(PIANKO) received an award. The six awards included one Gold, two Silver, and 3 Bronze.  Identity Systems submitted products in the categories of Screen Printing Four Colors, Specialty Finishing, and Specialties. PIANKO awards were announced Feb. 3, 2012 and all Gold Winners are submitted for Association- wide competition to be judged for Best of Category.

Each year the Printing Industries of Ohio holds its Print Excellence Awards competition to honor Ohio and northern Kentucky printers that demonstrate excellence in print.

"It's a special honor to be recognized in the screen printing category," said Identity Systems founder Judy Anderson.  "Screen printing is an extremely flexible method of creating an very long-lasting image, but is often overlooked in the printing industry."  Judy emphasized that Identity Systems has invested over 25 years in their screen printing methods and technology to not only establish consistent quality in their custom name badge / name tag and POS signage products, but also to push the envelope for the industry by developing even more applications for screen printing.

PIANKO hosts the Print Excellence Awards annually.  Three out-of-state expert judges are brought in to review entries and decide winners of a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Best of Region award at the regional level.  These awards are presented in January and February at PIANKO's Printing Week Celebrations.  

In addition, all gold entries are examined by the PIANKO judges to determine recipients of the Association-wide Rising Star, Judge's, Best of Category, and Best of Show awards.  These awards are presented at PIANKO's Grand Ceremony held in conjunction with their Annual Leadership & Management Conference in August.  All Best of Category award-winning entries receive free submission to the Premier Print Awards conducted by Printing Industries of America.
