Rickie Arthur from Newport has been commissioned to be the main headline act with his 7 piece live band at Weymouth Bayside Festival on 27th July 2012 in conjunction with the launch & start of the London Olympics 2012.
Performing as "Buble Fever" Rickie has now been commissioned to be the main headline act with his 7 piece live band at Weymouth Bayside Festival on 27th July 2012 in conjunction with the launch & start of the London Olympics 2012.
“It’s been a whirlwind 12 months for me as both a Buble tribute and writing and recording my own original tracks” Rickie (23) explained. “I am grateful to all my fans who come to see me perform and stay in touch regularly, and hope to make 2012 a year they will be even more proud of what I achieve.”
Rickie Arthur as Buble Fever is acclaimed to be the world’s No1 tribute performer to Michael Buble . He now follows in the illustrious footsteps of Michael Buble, as the superstar himself performed at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
“This year I’ve already traversed the country a few times and packed in some sell out venues. Aside from playing regular gigs at Ricky Tomlinson’s The Green Room in Liverpool and Bibis in Leeds, I’m particularly looking forward to my homecoming gig in Wales at The Memorial Hall & Theatre in Barry on 8th March.”
The venue expects to be fully booked. Just as well Rickie is no stranger to big audiences - it is expected that a TV audience of 4 billion people will watch the London Olympic Games 2012.
