Singer Rahn Anthoni Releases New Single “Give Me 2Night" through Interscope Indie Digital

Feb. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- On February 16th, the singer decided to give fans a sample of what's to come with a digital single ahead of its release, entitled, "Give Me 2Night."

This hot new club banger is a new chapter in the multifaceted entertainers life as well as another example of his unique formula for success. His 2011 album, "Man On A Mission" not only received unprecedented success, it was also submitted for a NAACP Image Award, receiving a nomination for "Breakthrough Artist Of The Year," for the 2012 Crunk for Christ Radio Holy Hip Hop and Rhythm & Praise Awards as well as receiving a nomination for the South Florida Gospel Music Awards.

Anthoni collaborated with a multi-platinum producer Riecco Delavega, formerly of Bad Boy Entertainment, whose credits include Keisha Cole, Faith Evans, Usher, Brandy, Notorious Big and many others.

In speaking with Rahn Anthoni regarding his new hip hop project which is different from the gospel genre we are use to seeing him under, he shared, "I was going through so much with my son's death, who was allegedly abused by two of his special needs teachers and died because of the abuse. I needed a break to just say "Give Me 2Night" because I desperately needed to dance the pain off. It hurts and I needed some high energy music to take me away. I still sing inspirational music because that's my heart and soul! I believe that you are created to express how you feel and this song is just how I feel in a nut shell." When asked if he was going secular completely and which genre he preferred over another, he added,"I don't separate music, I just do what I love to do and that is sing. When a person is going through, I minister. I have that gift to minister and also entertain people to make them happy."
