This is applicable to Strat® and Tele® players needing the tonal qualities of both guitars but also require a tremolo.  Haywire Custom Guitars of Myrtle Beach offers a new guitar to help solve this problem.  New from Haywire Custom Guitars is the “Outcaster” guitar.  It was developed for players who want to take just one guitar to the gig instead of two.
No more running to switch guitars during a live performance when you have this guitar. With the flip of a 5 way switch and a Tele® pickup in the bridge it can sound like a Strat® or a Tele® with this innovative Haywire custom design modification!
Musicians desiring greater control over tone need this. The Haywire Custom Guitars ”Outcaster”, like the original Stratotelia  guitar, combines some of the best elements of a Stratocaster® and a Telecaster®.  Haywire’s Custom Shop can now give players a guitar that can cover Telecaster® tones as well as Stratocaster® tones with a tremolo. A player can easily explore more of both guitars in one. Players can choose any stock or custom Tele® pickup to add to their Haywire “Outcaster” guitar.  It combines the best tones of a Stratocaster® and a Telecaster®. The Outcaster is a variation on the original Haywire “Stratotelia” except players can have a tremolo. The Outcaster has a custom Haywire designed pick guard and a tremolo system instead of the hard tail Telecaster® bridge.
