Jan. 31, 2012 - PRLog -- Jewel of the Month: Fire Opal

Fire opal is formed by igneous processes in volcanically active areas with hot springs and geysers.  It gets its color from iron.  Fire opal vibrates with the lower 3 chakras, especially the 3rd chakra, the center of our inner fire; the center of our will and manifestation. It is associated with the planet Mars. Fire opal is known as the initiator stone as it helps us to get into action.  It takes us out of the habit of thinking too long and getting stuck in the paralysis of analysis.  With fire opal energy we have the power to take on risks and not be bound by fear.  It is the stone that drives the power of our will, to reclaim our right to act and not be held back by false barriers.  Fire opal charges up our will and assists with the development of the Spiritual Warrior.  The Spiritual Warrior archetype represents one who can stand their ground and protect the sacred from within.  The Spiritual warrior accepts challenges while maintaining a positive outlook and maintains their power in a firm but quiet way.  Fire opal lights the fire within, helping us to accomplish much in a short amount of time. Fire opals are often used to draw money to you.

Monthly Jewel:

These are challenging times! We are being bombarded with this message from every angle. When this message comes into our awareness we have a choice; we can be victimized by the current circumstances or we can view this challenge as an opportunity to practice prosperity or wealth consciousness. When you are caught up in the doom and gloom and social consciousness about the state of our economy, you will attract more of the doom and gloom. Ralph Waldo Emerson said “The only thing that can grow is the thing that you give energy to”. I would like to invite you to give your thought energy to having a Wealth Mindset.

How do you cultivate the Wealth Mindset? First become aware of the information you choose to take in and avoid the constantly negative news. Many people watch the news right before going to bed but let me ask you something? Are the negative conditions of the world the last thing that you want planted into your mind before you go to bed? Your unconscious mind never sleeps so what you put in your mind right before bed is what you give your unconscious mind to focus on all night? Implant your mind with thoughts of gratitude, prosperity and abundance instead.

The second way to cultivate the Wealth Mindset is through gratitude. Be grateful for where you are right now. Whether you are employed, unemployed, in business for yourself, or a stay-at-home parent, there is a gift and an opportunity where you are right now in your life and when you express gratitude, it opens you up to recognize the gifts.

The third way is to look for opportunities. There is opportunity everywhere. In challenging times like these, the entrepreneurial spirit is awakened. There is no greater time than the present to start a business. You may find yourself saying “Whoa” it’s too scary to begin a business venture right now. Consider this; Microsoft, Disney, and Hewlett Packard where all started in challenging economic times. So were at least half of the 30 companies that comprise the Down Jones Industrial Average.  The greatest wealth in America is rooted in tough economic periods in history. An entrepreneurial venture is not always about starting a huge corporation. It may be as simple as starting a housekeeping service, a lawn mowing service or working as an independent representative in a Multi-level Marketing company.

In these challenging times it is the entrepreneurial spirit and the true ingenuity of the people that provide the change in the economy. Begin asking yourself what you can do to create your own economy that will assist in uplifting the global economy?

"In reaffirming the greatness of our nation, we understand that greatness is never a given. It must be earned. Our journey has never been one of short-cuts or settling for less. It has not been the path for the faint-hearted - for those who prefer leisure over work, or seek only the pleasures of riches and fame. Rather, it has been the risk-takers, the doers, the makers of things - some celebrated but more often men and women obscure in their labor, who have carried us up the long, rugged path towards prosperity and freedom..."
--President Barak Obama
