Cold Calling Wiki Officially Launched

Jan. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- The Cold Calling Wiki, a new website dedicated to teaching salespeople about cold calling in a non-biased format, has gone live.

"Wikipedia's cold calling page is lacking and only covers legal aspects of cold calling, while most other websites and forums on the topic are either highly opinionated or are for profit, so I decided to create this new website in response," the site owner told us.

Topics, aside from cold calling itself on the home page, include cold calling scripts, cold calling for insurance, cold calling for real estate, how to make cold calls, canvassing, telemarketing, and more.

As time goes on, the site owner expects users to add content in a true Wiki fashion.

"Of course, the site will be moderated, since my experience with any public forum on cold calling is that they devolve into shouting matches and heated arguments on the validity of making cold calls. And we don't want people posting spam links for SEO purposes either," the site owner explained.
