Discover the Beauty Colour Expo

Jan. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Beginning December 14, beauty and haircare experts worldwide will gather for France's inaugural Beauty Colour Expo in Paris. The event specifically caters the expectations of women of African, South-American and Indian origins and is the first of its kind in France. Women with curly or wavy hair and coloured skin will find products to enhance their beauty.

This new event takes place at Paris's top fashion venue La Halle Freyssinet and features around 150 professionals from the beauty, cosmetics and hair care industries in France and abroad. Workshops on subjects including hair straightening and detangling will take place, as well as catwalk shows and hairdressing competitions. French actress and former Miss France Sonia Rolland is spokesperson for the inaugural edition.

While events specifically for African women are already established in the US and the UK, with the respective Black Beauty Expo and Afro Hair and Beauty Live, this is the first event of its kind in France.

This year, the UK's Afro Hair & Beauty LIVE celebrated 30 years showcasing the very best brands in hair and beauty products. The event offered both professionals and consumers a varied programme ranging from hair and fashion shows, workshops/seminars and competitions. There were over one hundred companies showcasing their latest products and services. An in-house salon offered beauty tips from the experts and visitors got a makeover from an award winning stylist.
