Jan. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Today Lectromec (http://www.lectromec.com) released the 5-Series Dry Arc Track Resistance Tester, the newest arc track test equipment for material analysis.

The 5-Series is the second generation of Lectromec’s Dry Arc Track Resistance Test Equipment meeting the ASTM D495 test specification for “High-Voltage, Low-Current, Dry Arc Resistance of Solid Electrical Insulation” (http://www.astm.org/Standards/D495.htm).  A key feature of the 5-Series tester is the improved design providing for simplified unit operation and maintenance.  This redesign also significantly reduces the unit price making in-house dry arc track resistance testing a viable option for many companies.
