New Foam Breakthrough Neutralizes the “Not-So-Fresh” Smell of New Foam Products

A distinct odor is how most consumers would answer that question.  Early last year, the scientists at Carpenter Co. were challenged to come up with a better answer.  They succeeded by creating a whole new chemistry for foam called IsoFresh™, which effectively neutralizes the smell in new foam bedding products.

Carpenter Co. ( http://carpenter.com ) has invested heavily in research and development at its Reinhart Technical Center, the largest and most technically advanced laboratory for comfort cushioning products in the world. IsoFresh™ is the most recent example of the return on that investment. Developed in the Technical Center labs, IsoFresh™ changes foam at the molecular level so that its entire structure works to neutralize odors right at their source.
