Techno Brain Malawi commemorates World AIDS Day 2011

Jan. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Lilongwe, Malawi, December 1, 2011: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Techno Brain Malawi initiated and participated in a road walk – “a good will big walk” on Dec 1, 2011 to commemorate World AIDS Day 2011.
Techno Brain Malawi was joined by Officials from Nation AIDS Commission and OPC – Department of HIV and Nutrition in this road walk to honor the victims of AIDS pandemic and spread the message of “Stay Safe and Be Blessed”. The main aim of this road walk was to generate or collect some income from the streets and donate to an identified group of people affected by the pandemic directly.
AIDS is a condition resulting from damage done to the human immune system by HIV. It affects tens of millions of people around the world. The United Nations' (UN) World AIDS Day is held on December 1 each year to honor the victims of the AIDS pandemic and focus attention on the prevention and treatment of HIV and AIDS related conditions.

In commemoration of the 2011 World AIDS Day, Manoj Shanker, Group CEO, Techno Brain, said, “I would encourage employees to improve their knowledge about the danger of AIDS and commit themselves to prevent the disease from spreading”.
