Onaji – Prepare to be Soothed and Aggravated!

Dec. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Onaji has been described by players as being simultaneously “addictive and relaxing,” and also as “increasingly aggravating.”  This puzzle game is easy to play, but difficult to master. It is an evolution of the match-three game style, combining the fun of color matching, Pachinko action, and strategy. It consists of four seasons, each with accompanying art changes, difficulties, and original soundtracks handcrafted to soothe and relax the player, though players with OCD tendencies seem to prefer to mute the music.

The goal of the game is to create a hexagon made of Onaji tiles.  To interact with the seasonal tiles, click on color groups of two or more to remove them. When six tiles surround a peg on the game field (forming a hexagon) clicking it creates a special tile called an Onaji. The player must maintain a balance between building Onaji tiles and amassing enough points to continue playing. Progression to the next season requires the player to position six Onaji tiles into a Hexagon.

As the game progresses new challenges are introduced making it tougher to proceed.  Some of these challenges are: an increased rate of speed for tile settling/dropping; tile color lockout; and point penalties from tile overflow.

Warning: failure will result in mocking by cat!
