Dec. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- What’s the trick? Is it TV advertising dollars? The local campaign manager? Use of Social media?  Frankly it appears to be NONE of these “tricks.”  Seriously, if it were TV advertising dollars, Rick Perry would be topping the Iowa polls with his $2.86 million spent in ads! Yet, it’s more like, “Rick Perry, who?”  Instead, Business and Writing Coach, Molly Rider believes it comes down to living into your dream!

3 short weeks ago, Newt Gingrich led the Iowa Caucus poll at 33%.  With such a strong lead, he appeared to be the one to beat, at least in Iowa.  But, with 5 days to go, Gingrich has slipped more than 50%.  In the latest poll by CNN Gingrich has only 14% of the vote in Iowa, while Mitt Romney has jumped to 25% of the vote.

Gingrich has lost focus.  He’s dealing with a lot of bad press from the shady divorce of his first wife.  Instead of transforming and becoming the type of man that can lead our amazing country, Gingrich trades up, wife style.

Mitt Romney, on the other hand, understands that the game is never over.  He is picking up his bat to play every day.  As the Reverend Michael Beckwith once said: “It’s never, “God I want this. Make this happen.”  It’s always, “What do I have to become to live the vision, to manifest it, to reveal it?”  It is a process of transformation of the individual.
Mitt Romney is playing big.  When asked about winning Iowa and New Hampshire he is quoted in the Boston Globe as saying, “I just have to put my head down and battle as best I can.”

Regardless of whether you are a republican or democrat, the Iowa caucus and primary offer a HUGE learning experience for anyone!  It is an opportunity to watch tenacity, leadership, engagement and fulfillment at work.  At what level do YOU have these attributes?  AT what level does your BUSINESS have these attributes? Can you hold on to a belief, a vision, and keep battling day in and day out?

I challenge you to think about your business and ask yourself: Who are you becoming on your path to entrepreneurial success?  Are you willing to transform?  http://mollyrider.com/writing-motivation/writingmotivatio...
