Glass Doctor of the Gold Country in Jackson, Calif., Donates Food, Money to Local Food Bank

Dec. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Customers and community members helped the Glass Doctor of the Gold Country franchise collect 340 pounds of non-perishable food items and more than $300 as part of the company’s “Season of Sharing” campaign this holiday season. Franchise owner Mark Borchin and his family donated the food items to the Interfaith Food Bank on Friday, Dec. 23.

Glass services technicians with Glass Doctor of the Gold Country collected items from customers while on service calls. The shop was also a collection site for drop-off items from the community.

“We appreciate all of the people behind the donations for their generosity,” said Mark Borchin of Glass Doctor of the Gold Country. “It’s a privilege to work with Interfaith Food Bank for another year. This is a great way for us to give something back to the community during the holiday season.”
