Dec. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- The Autumn edition of TATOC's Sharetime magazine for timeshare owners, member resorts and affiliates has been launched today.

Once again, the 32-page Sharetime magazine contains a range of interesting industry and holiday news and stories for timeshare owners, the committees who represent them and industry professionals.

This edition of the magazine addresses many of the issues facing the industry. There is an article by timeshare owner John Woodward on the impact of negative publicity on the industry and timeshare newcomer Rob Kelsey encourages resorts to rethink their management processes from the outside in. We hear some great stories from happy timeshare owners who explain why they bought timeshare and recount their many enjoyable exchange experiences.

The TATOC timeshare online directory, which contains a listing of all TATOC affiliates, is re-launched in this issue. The directory has been developed as a resource for timeshare owners and committees looking for reputable companies in the industry from re-sale organisations to marketing services. All new affiliates receive a free listing so owners and committees can be assured they are dealing with companies with the highest levels of customer service.

There is a round up of news from our member resorts and we introduce both new resort members and affiliate companies. The issue also includes the final part of our informative series on the role of trustees by Jennie Thompson of Resort Fiduciary Services and we put the spotlight on new affiliate Veranne Wilkinson of Hutchinson & Co Trust Company.

Sharetime columnists Lisa Ann Shreier, the timeshare crusader and owner Katrina Disken, share their thoughts and, as part of TATOC’s on-going support of owner committees, we discuss the importance of keeping up with Google for resorts that run their own websites.

We hear the views of new affiliate Diana Aitchison of Nexus Leisure and find what life is like in a typical day for project director Mark Rosen from Club La Costa. Finally we get to know more about Phil Watson, the man behind the business at Worldwide Timeshare Hypermarket.

“This is the fourth and last issue of 2011 and we are delighted,” said Mr. Harry Taylor, TATOC executive chairman. “Once again, we cover a wide range of subjects focusing on the positive side of timeshare while addressing many of the issues that we face as an industry. The magazine is now available to read online and we have committed funds to printing and distributing copies as well. We would like to thank affiliates RCI, Worldwide Timeshare Hypermarket, Resort Solutions, Spice and Merlin, who have sponsored the website and advertised with us.”

Sharetime magazine is available to read online in digital format from its own dedicated website. To view the magazine, visit http://www.sharetimemagazine.com.

Printed copies of the magazine will also be available this time and distributed to TATOC members, resort managers and affiliates. Additional copies can also be provided for affiliates if they would like to distribute the magazine at their resorts.

The Timeshare Association (Timeshare Owners and Committees), known as TATOC, was formed in 1989. There are 92 member resorts located across Europe giving TATOC access to over 350,000 timeshare-owning families.

The aim of Sharetime magazine is to provide a positive image of the industry to both timeshare owners and the general public. Sharetime magazine supports the efforts of TATOC to promote timeshare, protect consumers from scammers and to secure the future of a legitimate industry for its members to continue to enjoy. The new digital format allows this message to be spread even further.
