Mathworks PSA Video In Running For $10K Donation

Nov. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- As part of Time Warner Cable's "Super Connector Search," Mathworks at Texas State University is in the running to receive a $10,000 donation!  

Time Warner Cable (TWC) is searching for people and organizations that "inspire the next generation of problem solvers by connecting  young people to the wonders of science, technology, engineering and math."  Initially selected as a "regional winner," Mathworks has already received a $5,000 donation from TWC.  The PSA video online voting will determine a national winner to receive an additional $10,000. Voting started on November 28th and continues till December 11th.

Mathworks is competing against 20 other regional winners from across the country.  All it takes is one click to vote, no registration required.  Mathworks programs impact more than 300 students each year through its summer math camps.  In addition, the Mathworks middle school curriculum is raising the level of mathematics achievement for students of all backgrounds.  Help Mathworks win this donation to help more kids be engaged in doing mathematics!
