New initiative to topple poverty in Ethiopia through service delivery upgrading.

Nov. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- For high end meetings in Addis Ababa there are many problems in facilitating all visitors with appropriate accommodation and service delivery. There are currently no standards set for hotels and no control is practiced on the performance of the current hotels. Within the Ethiopian culture hospitality is one the most important assets, which unfortunately is not reflected within the hospitality industry.

The Netherlands based company Hidden World BV recently started the initiative to set up a high end boutique hotel in Addis Ababa. This hotel should reflect the image of the country. Hidden World BV is seeking solutions by establishing a 30 room boutique hotel, designed and constructed according to high end standards and considering the environment. Hidden World BV will involve international experts in order to set up its whole concept and exchange knowledge.

At the same time a hotel school will be founded, which is attached to the hotel which doubles as the practical training institute. The training provided to students will be of top quality and open for international exchange opportunities. By training students properly in service delivery, hotel management, food and beverage up to the international standard it will be possible for graduates to find well paid jobs in Ethiopia or abroad. The training will be accredited on international level in order to guarantee the international value of the document. The training will be accessible for normal students and scholarships will be provided in order to create opportunities for students in all layers of society.

They are setting up business with local entrepreneurs and will provide employment on the local market, while at the same time transferring knowledge and adding value to their product.

Hidden World BV will work as a social responsible organization with the ambition to expand within Ethiopia and beyond.
