Follow on Google News | How to use NLP in your website to get more salesNuero linguistic programming is sometimes referred to as a dark art of manipulation, but we all do it natrually but some are better than others. So how can you manipulate your website?
By: Net Media Thailand In the physical form it's doing what the people we admire do, you have heard the adage 'mimicking is the highest form of regard.' Have a look next time you go,out with your partner and the colours they choose, see if it's similar to yours! We all talk about food when we are hungry, and how do our partners know exactly when it's time for love? I only ever caught one guy mirroring me at a networking event and he was astonished to be caught but then he was a master and I had studied it for a while. he matched his hands with mine as I spoke, and stood how I stood, and lowered his tone to match mine. This is a NLP basic where people buy from people like themselves, so be like them. Anchoring is a specially powerful form of NLP and it comes right down to raw emotion. people do things when there senses are heightened and they feel excited, and they do a physical thing when they are in this state and Anchoring is the study of that psychosomatic. Make up and cosmetics are a very powerful anchoring technique, colouring the cheeks, lips and the eyelids are recreating the natural colours of a woman during sexual climax. Yes ladies too much make up makes you look like a porn star! The male sees this and subconsciously is driven to believe she is ready for mating, and therefore more attractive! Very raw I know, but that's the facts have a look at your partner post coital and you will see a natural reddening of the lips and cheeks etc. I also read somewhere that high heels elongate the ladies calf muscle subconsciously sending out and evolutionary message to the male of a 'fleeing woman' which was caveman speak for 'Come and get me' In the raw Sales environment I learned that when you ask someone how they will feel when they receive a more than satisfactory outcome, I watch whet they do, they will do something physical i.e. "So Mr Jones if you got this car at the price you have in your mind how will you feel?" Mr Jones leans on the car and taps the roof twice. Later when I produce a price that is near to what he said, I would lean into the car and tap the roof twice, see where this is going? So how do you use this in a website to glean more engagement in your product or service. Any sale is an emotional experience, nobody buys anything without feelings,Imagine you are a T.V. advertising executive, try to create an advertising commercial for a box of breakfast cereal without a sunny morning, birds chirping and a well presented skinny supermodel wife and perfect happy family, and your client will not buy your service! We were all taught features and Benefits, remember FAB? Well take that a step further and create an emotion in the benefit. i.e.: Feature: An online marketing training course with http://netmedia- Benefit: Higher Google ranking and more sales Emotion: Sitting on the beach when your business is taking care of itself! SO for me I use the acronym Features and benefits with emotion! Easier to find the emotion when in the physical sales environment just ask the client what turns them on, and then give that emotion back and the end of your feature and benefit, and try to copy their physical attribute anchored to that emotion. However on your website, try to sell the emotion you know your potential client will feel. i.e. : If you sell Surf Boards the emotion is ..the ride, the freedom, the 'at one with the ocean'. Your services page should make one feel wonderful so go back and visit your website now, and see what you can power with an emotion. # # # Internet marketing training business based in Wirral UK and Bangkok Thailand teaching buisnesses how to expose their products effectively End
