Science 14 Atrium hosts the dialogue on EU-Latin America ICT Policy
Science 14 Atrium, the brand new business center in Brussels managed by Halldis, is hosting the conference “Fostering the EU-Latin America ICT Policy Dialogue”, a first step towards presenting a new cooperation scheme at the European Parliament.

On November 28, the international conference “Fostering the EU-Latin America ICT Policy” is taking place in Science 14. The event brings together key players form ICT, industry federations, research and innovation agencies in order to define new strategies for cooperation in Information and Communication Technologies.
In the field of research and innovation, Science 14 Atrium is supporting the activities carried out by FORESTA project in developing strategic recommendations to be presented to the European Commission, European Parliament and Latin-American governments.
The event is held by FORESTA project, a consortium of partners whose objective is to promote policy dialogue for ICT research cooperation between Europe and Latin America through conferences, policy dialogue forums, networking sessions. Furthermore, this project performs on two sets of activities: studies in the current ICT politics and recommendations for a better use of support instruments for ICT research cooperation.
The particular focus placed on the development of cooperation with Latin America goes under Horizon 2020, the upcoming EU framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
