Royal Emirates Group Launching CARACAL at MAGNIFICENT 7 - UAE Expo 2011 in Karachi - Pakistan

Nov. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Royal Emirates Group - United Arab Emirates based busienss group is launching which they call a "Pride of UAE" CARACAL 9 MM Pistol at Magnificent 7 - UAE Expo scheduled to open on November 30th, 2011 at Karachi Expo Centre in Karachi Pakistan.

The event is being organized by the Consulate General of UAE in Karachi and is being supported by the Ministry of  Foreign Trade - UAE under the patronage of HE Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasmi, Minister of Foreign Trade UAE. Prime Minister of Pakistan HE Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani will be opening this magnificent event on 30th of November, 2011.

Long awaited CARACAL 9 MM Pistol and its accessories are finally arriving in Pakistan. This finest high tech arm went under hundreds of quality and fitness tests before it was offered to security agencies and private license holders. This state of the art pistol is procession oriented, ultra light weight and designed by world's best. The weapon is produced by CARACAL International a subsidary of Tawazun Holding - Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The weapon was appreciatively certified by the Federal German Armed Forces testing house WTD 91 in Meeppan, Germany in the year 2006. Based on successful compliance of the most stringent test protocols set forth by the independent testing agency WTD 91, the CARACAL Pistol has passed the tests communicable to the test requirements of the following:
• The Technical Guidelines for a Police Pistol (Technische Richtlinie Polizei ( TR Polizei).
• D 14 NATO Testing Regulations.
• The Technical Terms of Delivery for Pistols to the German Forces (TL 1005 – 0098)

CARACAL has already achieved their export license to export to USA and shipment of 5000 CARACAL 9 MM Pistols have already been exported to USA and have been distributed. CARACAL is currently under use of several police departments and government owned security agencies in several european countries.

The quality is assured since the Caracal pistol received the Nato D14 standard certification several years ago. The certification was achieved after rigorous testing in Meppen, Germany, said Khamis Al Muwaijei - regional manager of CARACAL.

To get to the testing stage, a team of research and design experts was led by Caracal designer Wilhem Bulbits who also designed the Steyr M, a pistol has some resemblance to the Caracal product.

Not long after Caracal was incorporated, the new handgun was launched at the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) 2007 in Abu Dhabi and in total, 33,000 of these pistols have been ordered by the UAE Armed Forces and Abu Dhabi Police which always buys the best of the best.

Advantages

Those involved with Caracal from the start believe that the modified nine-millimetre pistol has advantages over other brands and that slight modifications in the design by Bulbits will help the firm's three models, Caracal F (Full), Caracal C (Compact) and Caracal SC (Subcompact), become popular over time.

Mr. Al Muwaijei said that the Caracal series is a "better choice among other handguns" for three main reasons stemming from the expert design finalised by the research team: "its accuracy; less-felt recoil and less muzzle flip."

In essence, Caracal pistols have a lower profile between the barrel centreline to grip which means that the barrel is placed lower inside the gun so that it is positioned just above the user's hand on the grip.

A slight difference of only millimetres to create a lower-placed barrel gives users more natural intuition when firing, Al Muwaijei said.

"The barrel sits lower, the slide is five millimetres lower than any other gun in the market," he said.

"The ergonomics of the gun allows you to hold it without cocking it up or down. You get recoil that is up and back rather than flipping."

Targeting special forces

Gun owners who routinely visit private indoor shooting ranges to engage in the sport may have to wait some time to get their hands on a Caracal pistol to experience the difference for themselves as compared to other more popular nine-millimetre semi-automatics since our first focus is special agencies, Khamis Al Muwaiji, regional manager, said.
