StreetSmart is the Smart Option in Bristol

Nov. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Diners can now search for their local StreetSmart restaurant using a brand new iPhone application.  This will provide a great boost to the participating restaurants, which are already reporting great feedback from their diners.

StreetSmart raises funds for local homeless people throughout November and December.  Restaurants add an optional £1 to diners’ bills and every penny goes directly to charity, thanks to the overall sponsorship of Deutsche Bank.

There are 10 restaurants in Bristol supporting StreetSmart this year and the money raised will be split between four local homeless charities: Bristol Soup Run, Caring at Christmas, Emmaus Bristol and One25.

The new iPhone application lets diners know exactly where they can eat in support of the campaign.  It is free and can be downloaded via the StreetSmart website www.streetsmart.org.uk

This year there are ten restaurants taking part in Bristol: Bell’s Diner, Berwick Lodge, Fishers Fish & Seafood Restaurant, Greens Dining Room, Maitreya Social, Moreish, Primrose Café, Second Floor Restaurant at Harvey Nichols, Clifton Kitchen, Shanghai Nights and riverstation.
