Nov. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Peak Design Capture camera clip system is a revolutionary new way for photographers on the go to carry their precious cameras. Simply clip the Capture system to any belt or strap and your camera will be securely attached where ever you go! The base chassis clamps down securely on any strap or belt. The camera connection plate securely screws into the tripod mount on any camera and once attached to the camera it means the camera can be rigidly attached by sliding it into the chassis.

Capture camera clip system is constructed from die cast aluminium parts with the release button made from high-strength, low friction delrin thermoplastic.Bolts are made from cold-forged zinc allow. All parts are corrosion resistant making the Capture system weather resistant.

Hold any camera:
     Capture can be used with any camera, whilst specially designed for DSLR, the Capture system works on any camera with a standard tripod mount

     Capture can be clamped to any belt or strap less than 7.6 cms (3.0 wide

Quick release lock:
     The quick release lock provides a fool proof mechanism for securing the camera whilst making it readily accessible. Rated to hold up to 45 kg (150 lbs) of force in any direction the clip will be able to withstand any amount or shaking or pressure during physical activity (reliant only on the strength of the strap or belt of course!). To unlock the camera, a user can simply press the quick release button.

Omni-Directional locking action:
    Locking action allows the user to clip their camera in all four directions a useful feature of this being that users can place the camera upside-down to safely change lenses. This feature allows a user to choose how they would like their camera positioned when attached to their body.

Arch-swiss Tripod head compatibility:
  Head compatibility means that if users have a Arca-Swiss tripod head they can simply attach the camera to their tripod using the Capture's camera connection plate.

Redundant twist-lock:
  When the redundant twist lock is engaged the camera cannot be removed from the chassis providing total security for users who fear they might accidentally press the quick release button

Hand-strap loops:
  The camera connection plate is equipped with 4 hand-strap loops, allowing user to attach a hand-strap directly to the connection plate. When a hand-strap is connected, the user will still be able to clip their camera into Capture chassis. In addition, these loops will attach to the Capture Leash, a yet to be released accessory.
