Carbondale, Colorado - United States – November 21, 2011 - Solar Energy International is providing online training for those interested in learning about alternative energy.  These online courses cover all aspects of alternative fuels; anything from research and sales to design and installation.  Renewable energy training and solar installer training are just a few of the online courses offered by Solar Energy International.  

SEI understands that these are new ideas and with new ideas come skepticism.  Using the power of the internet and the wisdom and experience of industry experts they plan to educate a new generation of renewable energy engineers. Much of the subject matter in the courses is not just education and training, but certification and continuing education in the various alternative energy fields.  

After speaking with one of the organizations representatives we heard, “Our vision is focused on helping create a more sustainable future for our planet and its inhabitants. Through our work, we see clear opportunities to influence people's thinking and behaviors towards energy efficiency and the use of natural, sustainable methods of energy production and utilization.”

Solar Energy International was started in 1991. Since then the organization has grown in many directions especially in the area of education.  SEI not only provides online courses for the adults who want to reap the benefits of solar training and wind training; they bring educational information to children.  SEI has a program they refer to as Solar in the Schools.  This program is brought into K-12 classrooms across the globe offering energy presentations and classroom activities.
