Creativeworks Wins Platinum for Scotiabank Sibos Conference Video

Nov. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- The EMPixx Awards honours excellence and innovation of Moving Pixels and outstanding creativity in motion graphics, FX and animation. This is the second award that Creativeworks Productions have won for Scotiabank in recent years.

The Sibos Conference video was created for the Global Transaction Banking division at Scotiabank, a Canadian-based financial institution providing a complete range of personal, commercial, corporate, investment and international banking services, in more than 50 countries around the world. The video was featured at the annual Sibos Conference  - Sibos is the world’s premier financial services event hosted in Toronto, Canada in 2011.

The EMPixx Awards are sponsored by The American Pixel Academy, whose goal is to connect creative visual professionals in the pixel media with educators and judged by top industry professionals, all of whom have won significant awards for their work.  

The platinum award is presented to entries judged to be the most outstanding submissions in the competition. Platinum winners are recognized for their excellence in terms of quality, creativity and resourcefulness.  Say the judges, “[The video has an] excellent use of motion graphics to grab and hold the attention [of the audience]. The music and great use of live action interspersed with illustrations and still shots create a powerful piece.”
