Nov. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Written by recent Princeton grad and popular music blogger Suzanne Raga, You Rock! How to Be a Star Student & Still Have Fun connects with middle and high school students who strive for academic success.

“My mission is to help kids realize that they can achieve academic success without stressing out and being miserable” said Suzanne Raga, author of You Rock! How to Be a Star Student & Still Have Fun. “I’m happy to share with my readers the specific study strategies that I used to succeed in school while also achieving balance, having fun, and maintaining a positive attitude.”

You Rock! offers a unique, relevant perspective to the study-tips genre because it draws parallels between playing pop/rock music and excelling in the classroom, emphasizes happiness and balance rather than straight A’s, and is written by a young college graduate who has recently been there, done that.

You Rock! guides readers through all facets of student life – preparing for the school day, taking notes in class, doing homework efficiently, successfully taking tests and quizzes, participating in extracurricular activities, and spending time having fun and pursuing passions.

Raga chose to digitally publish You Rock!, which is available as an e-book through Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, and the Apple iBookstore. “I wanted to make the information affordable and accessible to all students,” said Raga.

You Rock! How to Be a Star Student & Still Have Fun (ISBN: 978-1-4524-5536-5, $5.99, Nonfiction-Education-Study Skills) is available for sale at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, and the Apple iBookstore.
