Races2U teams up with Ferrari of Austin

Nov. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- In the year since its inception, Races2U has gone from a single slot car track set up inside a concession trailer to a multi-track, multi-faceted slot car company that is taking Texas by storm.  As part of its latest expansion, Races2U has been sucessfully marketing slot car racing to automotive dealerships in the Austin area.  As an authorized retailer for several of the biggest slot car manufacturers, Races2U has a huge stable of scale model cars of many popular or otherwise well known automobiles.  After the first sucessful venture with the local Aston Martin dealership, Races2U now has teamed up with Ferrari as well.  

Carrera slot cars out of Germany is the only manufacturer offically licensed to reproduce Ferrari models and use the Ferrari logo, and in fact, Ferrari international does carry some Carrera models for sale on its website.  However, they do not carry the full line of Carrera Ferrari branded products, and these products are not generally available at the dealership level.  Races2U has stepped in to fill this gap by making Carrera products available through the dealership.  

Since Races2U does design and construction of slot car tracks as well as retail, it was only natural that they build an operating track for display at the dealership.  The display is based on a Formula 1 circuit, and features replicas of the Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa Ferrari F1 cars.  This track is one of the more advanced digital tracks where cars can change lanes and multiple cars can race on one lane.  Anyone interested is welcome to stop by the dealership and try it out.
