CF Jordan Construction Honored by the ARTBA Foundation/CNA

Nov. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- CF Jordan Construction, a leading Texas based commercial construction and construction management company received the “Contractor Safety Award” by the American Road & Transportation Builders Associations (ARBTA), the oldest national transportation construction-related association, and CNA, a leading national property and casualty insurance firm.

CF Jordan received the award based on recordable rates below the industry average and low workers compensation experience modifier rates. The award was received in the category of 500,001 to 1,000,000 hours worked. CF Jordan was one of eight finalists to receive the Contractor Safety Award.

The ARBTA Foundation/CNA developed the program to promote worker safety and health as core values of the transportation design and construction industry. Award winners demonstrated a low “OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Recordable Rate.” The rates were measured against benchmark metrics established by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
