Work-At-Home Success University Launches New Virtual Assistant Course

Nov. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- In January 2011, Leslie Truex, owner of the 13 year old Work-At-Home Success launched Work-At-Home Success University to offer affordable, easy to follow guides on working at home. So far Work-At-Home Success University has offered courses in getting a work-at-home job, blogging for bucks, affiliate marketing, direct sales success and starting a service business.

On November 1st Truex launched How to Be a Virtual Assistant, a 4-week email course that takes students step-by-step through the process of becoming a virtual assistant. "My goal is to provide the steps, tools and resources, so that buy the end of the course students will be on their way to working at home." Truex reports that this newest course explains virtual assistant work, how to decide what services to offer, how to price your services and how to get work. She also includes a list of companies that frequently hire virtual assistants. "Each course includes lessons or action steps that build on each other through the four weeks. If people complete the lessons as they receive them, by week four they'll be ready to work-at-home as a virtual assistant."

Because Work-At-Home Success University reaches a worldwide audience, the courses are delivered via email. "Webinars and teleseminars are wonderful ways of teaching, but I find many people are unable to attend. With a worldwide audience, it is difficult to find a time that works for everyone. Through email people can learn the lessons at the time that works best for them," reports Truex.

Since 1998, Leslie Truex and Work-At-Home Success have become well-known in small business and telecommuting circles. In 2009, Adams Media published her book The Work-At-Home Success Bible. In 2010, Truex created Work-At-Home Success University and published her most recent book, Jobs Online: How to Find and Get Hired to a Work-At-Home Job.
