Local Pool Builder Chosen To Judge National Contest

Nov. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- LOCAL POOL BUILDER CHOSEN TO JUDGE NATIONAL CONTEST

(November 2, 2011) Las Vegas, NV – A panel of 3 judges gathered in Las Vegas on November 2, 2011 to select the winners of this year’s AQUA CHOICE AWARD, a distinguished honor which goes to the most visually appealing and technically advanced residential pool projects in the nation.

The judges for the contest are chosen from notable pool builders across the country, and previous winners of the contest. This year’s panel included local pool builder, Da Vida Pools, LLC.  

Lisa North and Andre Del Re, co-owners and Certified Building Professionals, have received over 50 design awards, including two Aqua Choice Awards, in Da Vida Pool’s short eight year history.  The company is internationally known for its creative design concepts and innovative building techniques.

“It’s quite an achievement to be chosen to judge the contest,” said AQUA magazine Executive Editor Scott Webb, organizer of the annual event. “We look for people who not only have excelled as builders and designers, but have a discerning eye for aesthetics in construction.”

The AQUA Choice Awards honor the best in residential pool and spa design, from portable hot tub installations to extravagant custom concrete pools with all the bells and whistles. The judges consider the quality of design, engineering and execution, design context, sustainability and value to the client.
