Diary of Destruction is a French metal band out of Lille, France that began back in 2007.  The name is based on the metaphor of the personal diary (symbol of the stand back) and Destruction (rough and impulsive aspect of the man).  The band draws inspiration from the beginnings of metal into a matured yet high-tech sound of today’s metal with an International appeal.  Vocals run the gamut from tender to destructive fury alongside the powerhouse guitars, drums, storyline and delivery.  Similar to a roller coaster ride, Diary of Destruction’s storylines are delivered with precision and passion through their musical arrangements delivering maximum effect 100% of the time.  
In 2010 and 2011 Diary of Destruction released Maxi “Outside the Shade” which was very well received worldwide along with many live performances in all of France and Belgium.  

Diary of Destruction is set to release their debut album introducing audiences to a more personal, accomplished and polished band.  “Dark Road to Recovery” is set for release in 2012.  However a few songs will be pre-released due to the fact that they encompass the band’s originality, talent and overall audience appeal.  The single “Working Through Pain” is about fighting against the demons and the suffering in life – through famine, disease, natural disasters and personal ones.   Finding the way to stay mindful and focusing on positive things instead of resistance gives one strength and fortitude.  It’s a powerful and emotionally charged storyline which delivers the full spectrum of sadness to hope, from the dark into the light.  This song has raging guitar riffs and thunderous drums.  The female vocals are beautiful and powerful.   When you combine these talents, you get a recipe for success.  Diary of Destruction delivers big time, rocking audience’s worldwide.  

Diary of Destruction played with a band called Benighted Soul.  At the end of 2010 they toured with Tarja Turunen (ex-Nightwish) and Kells (France).  They are licensed by BMI and focuses on one day bringing their music to the United States showing all the French version of metal music.  What a lesson we would learn…  They are currently preparing for their European tour for their debut album.  

“Dark Road to Recovery” will be mixed and mastered at Zing Recording Studios in Westfield, Massachusetts.  They are working on their promotional photo shoot in Fontainebleau, France with Anthony Dubois.
