Brian Paul music is as versatile as the artist himself

Brian Paul is from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  He's been playing piano since the age of 8 and has been singing for over 30 years.  He's been playing professionally since his early 20's as a solo artist, in bands, duos and trios.  One particular highlight of his career, so far, is playing in a country band that got called in as a warm up band for Ricky Skaggs at a local concert hall.  Brian sang five songs.  Brian will have many highlights in his career – there's no doubt about that.

A few years ago, Brian decided to pursue his original songs with more dedication and focus.   This led him to getting his three course certificate in songwriting from Berkleemusic-online.  This took Brian to a completely different level.  His goal is to work towards a career as a songwriter.  He loves being able to listen to his words being put to melodies for himself and collaborating with other artists as well.    It's a proud moment in his life when the realization hit that he had a grand talent and a grand purpose in life.

A few years ago, Brian and his wife wrote some children's/family type gospel songs when they couldn't find songs that they liked for a special church service.  It was a wonderful experience and their new music was very well received.  This opened up a new door for Brian who then began working on  Gospel/Christian music.

Brian's music has no set style or genre.  He is an external thinker and creator and it shows in all the music he writes whether it is pop, rock, country or jazz.   He isn't afraid of trying something new or to fuse different genre's together to create a unique sound.  

Songs such as "Watch Your Money", “Sunbird" and "Empty Glass" are samples of his ability to switch to different types of music.  The songs are as versatile as the artist is himself.  Lyrically he captures your imagination, your emotions and your attention.  The arrangements are perfectly synchronized with the story being told.  The effect is everlasting keeping his music in the forefront.
