Collaborative development with David Lewis for an iconic design:

ASUS have an established relationship with iconic designer David Lewis who has worked on the previous NX90 notebook as well as owning the studio responsible for the Bang & Olfusen account for several decades.

David Lewis has joined forced with ASUS once more to co-design the new N Series with a refreshingly simple approach; polished edges elegantly frame the piano-gloss surface alongside the sound wave-inspired speaker mesh.

The seamlessly integrated keyboard is engineered not only for stylish appearance but for practicality too, with reinforced fast-action keys for efficient typing and a soft-touch palm rest for comfortable use.

Improved SonicMaster technology delivers high impact audio:

The new N Series boasts an enhanced version of SonicMaster, co-developed with Bang & Olfusen ICEPower® technology. Despite being housed within a smaller, lighter and far more portable package, the new N Series range delivers a highly improved standard in notebook audio compared with the NX90 predecessor. Such superior sound is the result of expanded range, improved fidelity, and deeper bass with distinct vocals, a winning combination which rivals dedicated surround systems.

To further amplify the exceptional sound, the N Series comes bundled with an external subwoofer for high impact audio. With Music Now – a software suite which loads music in seconds - users will have everything they need to enjoy portable music at the touch of a button.

NVIDIA® Optimus™ and USB 3.0 for speedy all-day computing:

In addition to a streamlined design and spectacular sound, the new N Series notebooks are packed full of advanced technology such as the latest 2nd generation Intel Core processor and DirectX®11-compatible NVIDIA® GeForce® GT555M graphic card.

NVIDIA® Optimus™ is an intelligent technology which switches between on-board and dedicated graphics to ensure that the maximum performance is delivered for high-powered tasks such as gaming and movies but energy is not wasted for low resource tasks such as browsing and word processing. This clever feature helps to preserve battery life and allows users to enjoy longer hours of computing on-the-move. What’s more, Instant-On offers 2-second notebook resume, a power management tool which extends standby time to a whopping 15 days.

USB 3.0 (up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0) offers speedy data transfers, whilst the USB+ charger device allows users to charge devices such as phones and cameras even when the notebook is switched off.

The impressive selection of features promises users a fast, portable multimedia notebook capable of high-end gaming and entertainment both at home and during travels.
