Interestingly, the salary offered by medium sized corporations can actually be higher than those offered by larger corporations, it is also much easier and faster to progress to senior positions. For young professionals, the important thing is to obtain experience instead of looking for a long-term security. If you have the experience and the skill, then you can open up more career opportunities instead of “stuck up” with a corporation forever. Look for International Experience More and more corporations value international experience, particularly for companies in the United States; where it is clear that export will play a crucial part in the US’s future economy. More companies in the US are considering about exporting than ever, and most of them have done so successfully and expanding their exporting activities. International experience is therefore, highly regarded by these exporters or would-be exporters. It is highly encouraged if you can, either to work or study abroad for a number of years, and if you can pick up a second language, that will all assist your career opportunities.
