Anthony Adams (aka A-Jay The Dog) was born in 1991 and began on his musical journey at the age of 10.  The following year he recorded his first verse in a real studio.  Initially it was a gospel rap and they were all written by a man named Darrell Foster.  Darrell kept telling Anthony that he needed to learn how to write, but when Darrell Foster passed away so did that music.  Anthony began to write and write but was discouraged at his ability.  He began to rebel against school and found himself straying and focusing on his friends along with other bad activities.  One day in the 11th grade, having nothing important to do, he began back rapping.  He still wasn’t pleased with the result, but determined he was to continue and get better and better.  Without realizing it, Anthony had a stack of paper with lyrics written on them.  He took it to his friends and rapped a bit with them and they were amazed at what they heard.  Anthony Adams was amazed also.  Even more determined and focused he began feverishly writing on the computer  and just learning about music, realizing that this talent he never knew he had was a gift from God.  Anthony took on the artist name of A-Jay The Dog and the rest is history.

A-Jay The Dog is proud to announce the release of his debut mixtape titled “I Am J.A.D.” which stands for Just Another Dog.  The single “I Won’t Stop Now” leads the way with a wakeup call to hip hop and rap audiences all over.   This is a raw rap song with a double beat that are in sync which is not typical in rap.  Even the introduction will snap you out of your doldrums.   It has a quick rhythm with a slower track overlay and the sound is outstanding.  Vocally he’s on the mark  and lyrically, there is no one who comes close.  This determination and focus clearly shows with this single’s release giving audiences a taste of who A-Jay The Dog truly is.  A-Jay The Dog has brought back old school rap and audiences love it.  This song shows audiences that what he raps about is what he speaks.  He is authentic and true to who he is.    A-Jay The Dog and his music are very relatable in this music industry and there are millions of people who understand and welcome music like his.
