Oct. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- From a total outsider's view, Birmingham in 2011 is most famous for 5 things:

1. Birmigham City Football Club

2. Aston Villa Football Club

3. The NEC

4. The Bull Ring

5. And Frank Skinner

OK - those really are the top things that I think of when Birmingham comes to mind. For the record, I have been to Birmingham 5-6 times over the last few years and I must say that I loved it every time. Its a really vibrant city with plenty to do and see. The German Christmas Market is a must - time of year dependent of course!

What less people may know, is that Birmingham is a major centre for Education in the UK. In fact it is second only to London in student population size. Birmingham is home to three universities: the University of Birmingham, Aston University, Birmingham City University. It also has two university colleges: Newman University College  and University College Birmingham. Birmingham Metropolitan College is one of the largest further education colleges in the country.

Concerned as we are in learnpipe with all things education, we thought that we would take a look at the education related search terms that are featuring strongly in Birmingham.

The top 10 most popular Birmingham Education search terms include:

it courses birmingham - 74000 s/m
