Art News - some things count more than others in the art world

Some things count more than others in the art world. Adding Collections to your accomplishments ranks high on the list. Being represented by a gallery is another. Becoming a juried member of the national artists society is a third.

Oct. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Eva Dillner is proud to add
Collections
Ydre Municipality, Sweden 2011 "The sunken boat C318"
"It's a good fit with our region where so many are fond of boats and fishing. Many who are unfamiliar with abstract art feel a satisfaction when they suddenly discover a boat in something they thought was non figurative. The painting is an excellent mingle or dialogue piece that would enliven the entry to our bright and beatiful conference room in the new city hall."
Ydre Municipality was ranked the 3rd best place to live in Sweden by Focus Magazine in 2011.

Juried member
Entering the art world without the right schools and connections has its own challenges. To become a member of The Swedish Artists´ National Organization, KRO, requires  proving a level of accomplishment and professionalism commensurate to satisfy a jury of pros. Eva was selected for membership this spring, adding yet another important milestone to her CV.

New! Art Leasing
For many businesses, renting art makes much more sense than purchasing the originals. You can lease canvas reproductions, giclee prints or the orginal art. Eva will help you with the selection and hanging. Over time you can vary the collection to suit your changing needs. As a member of the KRO, The Swedish Artists´ National Organization she uses their basic contract and follow their guidelines for art leasing.

Summer Art Shows in Ydre, Lessebo and Eksjö were much appreciated by the public. Visitors had fun naming some of Eva's art:

Represented
As for being represented by a name gallery, somewhere in the world, that is still to come. It's a matter of finding the right fit, where the gallery clientele is likely to find Eva's art of interest and a good fit with the main theme of the gallery.  She welcomes any suggestions of galleries to contact.
