Theron Simpson Has Joined the ProSidian Consulting Advisory Board

Sept. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Charlotte, NC.  September 22, 2011 — Theron Simpson joins ProSidian Consulting Advisory Board.  His independent guidance and expertise will help maximize ProSidian Consulting’s growth and strategic value.  ProSidian Consulting, LLC (ProSidian), a strategically diversified business and technical advisory firm providing services to government and private sector, has created a board of advisors comprised of five (5) industry veterans who will help maximize the firm’s success and value.

ProSidian has been on a path with a vision to realize the full potential of our capabilities as a top tier advisory services firm through excellence in service, while upholding our values and ethical standards to give back to the communities in which our consultants and their clients work and live.

The announcement was made by Adrian Woolcock (Managing Principal).  ProSidian’s management hopes to execute on a five (5) year plan of realized growth while focusing on the same "pole star" of successful client engagements and a growth continuum to create value for the firm and its clients.  We are looking for “Great People Who Lead” at all levels in the organization, explains Adrian Woolcock (Founder & Managing Principal).

Mr. Woolcock founded ProSidian Consulting in 2004 with a firm focus on client results first and foremost through a culture where team dynamics, entrepreneurial spirit, and respect for the individual form the cornerstone of advisory services.  Adrian Woolcock has a long track record of engaging clients to develop and execute strategies focused on driving business performance.  Mr. Woolcock previously held leadership positions in industry and with Big 4 Accounting and consulting firms.

The formation of the Board of Advisors is the next step in the firm’s strategic plan to grow organically and through acquisition to $30 million with offices in Charlotte NC, Washington DC, Atlanta GA, Houston TX, and Ft Lauderdale FL — by 2016.

The Advisory Board Members were chosen to reinforce a firm focus on opportunities in the South West, South East, and Mid Atlantic Areas of the United States.  The members of ProSidian Consulting’s Board of Advisors are:

THERON SIMPSON

Theron Simpson, co-founder of Bentley-Simpson Consulting, LLC, is a management consultant and executive coach with over thirty years of experience.

He has consulted to corporate and not-for profit organizations in a variety of roles to include  interim and external human resources executive,  training and development and executive coach.  In partnership with senior leaders at all levels of management, Theron assists in developing and implementing strategic and operational business objectives to optimize the achievement of organizational   business objectives.  His coaching clients are from real estate, academics, healthcare and human services and entrepreneurs from multiple industries.  

Prior to becoming a consultant and coach, Theron held senior management leadership positions in the healthcare, manufacturing and high tech industries with responsibilities ranging from strategic planning, management development and human resource management.

He has served as Adjunct Professor at several universities and colleges lecturing on business and management in the areas of human resources, management principals, business communications and ethics.  He, currently, facilitates online courses with the University of Phoenix.  He is a former member of the National Urban League serving as a Visiting Professor in the Black Executive Exchange Program (BEEP) and Rotarian with the Springfield, Massachusetts chapter.  He has been a SCORE Counselor (Advisor to Small Businesses) for over seven years where he served as First Vice President of the Springfield, Massachusetts Chapter and is currently VP Recruitment, Retention and HR for the Charlotte Chapter.

He served as a former member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Town of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts and was a former board member of the YMCA of Greater Springfield, Massachusetts and New Haven, Connecticut.  Theron was the Past President of the Board of Directors for the Springfield Home for the Elderly in Springfield, Massachusetts and Past Chairperson of the Board of Robert M. Hughes Academy Charter Public School in Springfield, Massachusetts.  He has received numerous awards for his exceptional volunteerism.  Theron Simpson also serves as a board member of Habitat for Humanity of York County, SC”

Theron earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Chapman University, a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Management at Pepperdine University and a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Management at Rensselaer at Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut.  He has received a designation of Registered Corporate Coach (RCC) with the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC).  Theron served over twenty years on active duty in the U. S. Marine Corps retiring as a Captain.
