The NBA lockout has sent many players scrambling to find some odd jobs. Several household names including Blake Griffin and Kevin Love have recently offered various services in a new hilarious infomercial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PbvSF_xsQo&feature=player_embedded). Today, Zoku & Juice officially extended offers today to both current and former NBA Players, Shaquille O’Neal and Ray Allen, to work in their marketing department. This announcement comes on the heels of Blake Griffin’s recent decision to take an internship with Funny or Die, and KFC’s job offer to Dwayne Wade to work as a takeout captain.

Shaquille O’Neal, as well known for his comments off the court, as his dominant play on it, is being extended a Brand Ambassador position. This is a savvy move given his charisma and the fact that he is likely to sign a deal to work on Inside the NBA on TNT where he could further endorse Zoku & Juice. Ray Allen, who is a bit more tech savvy, is being offered a web engineering position, and being asked to develop a visual consistency across Zoku & Juice’s work. Both O’Neal and Allen would be getting paid $100K+ with generous stock packages.

When asked about the possibility of an NBA lockout resolution, Noah replied: “Look. While we would lose Ray Allen to the Boston Celtics at the start of the NBA season if it takes place, we would be happy. Professional basketball makes the world better. If he can work part time for us, great, but if not, we would welcome the greatest 3 point shooter in history into the Zoku & Juice family for the time we had him, miss his talents in our office, and wish him the best.”
