Chevron Training propose action plan for redundant Talk Talk workers to An Taoiseach Enda Kenny

Sept. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- An Taoiseach Enda Kenny, visited Chevron Training today, where Sales Director, Karl Fitzpatrick, discussed the possible training options for over 500 workers who will be made redundant following the recent announcement of job losses in Talk Talk.

Chevron Training is Ireland’s largest private training provider and has delivered career focused training programmes to redundant workers from high profile companies which include, Dell, Waterford Crystal and SR Technics. An Taoiseach praised the integral role that Chevron Training played in assisting these redundant workers to return  to the workplace.

Mr. Karl Fitzpatrick, highlighted the importance of providing the former Talk Talk workers with specific training programmes in high growth sectors to avail of the job opportunities that currently exist.

During his visit, the Taoiseach was also provided with a tour of Ireland’s only energy and environmental mobile training unit. The Taoiseach commended Chevron Training’s investment in this innovative mobile training unit stating that “this state of the art training facility will be extremely beneficial in facilitating job seekers to access skills based courses in their local area”
