AVADirect Introduces Rugged Notebooks and Tablets By GD Itronix

The GD8200, a GD Itronix rugged notebook AVADirect offers, is standard with Intel's integrated HD 3000 graphics and supported with the Core i7 2655LE 2.2 Ghz processor; capable of 2.9Ghz with turbo. Memory is upgradable up to 8GB of DDR3 SODIMM at 1066Mhz as a purchased bundle with a 256GB SSD drive, or a 500GB Hybrid drive with heater. Standard communication devices are supported, such as an Intel 802.11 a/b/g/n WIFI, or AT&T/Sprint/Verizon broadband cards granting a steady broadband connection regardless of location. Accessories such as vehicle mounts, port replicators, and backlit keyboards are also options for this specific model.

The GD3015, a GD Itronix rugged tablet AVADirect offers, is standard with Intel's GMA graphics and supported with the Intel Atom Z530 1.6Ghz processor. 2GB of DDR2 RAM at 667Mhz and a 64GB SSD, or 500GB HDD, are options for memory and storage for this model. This rugged tablet has the same communication features as the HD8200, however it includes a 10.4" sunlight-readable touch screen.
