Loaded Deck Comedy Show at The Improv Lab in Los Angeles on Wed. August 3rd, 2011

Aug. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- The Loaded Deck Comedy Show will be taking place on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011 at 8:30 pm at The Improv in The Improv Lab, located at 8162 Melrose Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90046. The cover charge is $5 and there are no additional drink minimums. Running time is 90 minutes.

The Loaded Deck Comedy Show boasts on their promotional flyer that they have "LA's best young comedians doing their best fifteen minutes." The line-up includes a wide range of comics. Brett Gilbert, who has appearances on Bones, House, and in Ghost World, is known for his irreverent social commentary. Jason Gillearn has been seen on The Tonight Show and Jimmy Kimmel. Michael Magid,  recently seen at the Boston Comedy Festival, is a Venezuelan Jew who uses that basis for comedic effect. Other comedians performing include: Casey Balsham, Kat Radley, and Jason McClees.

The Improv Lab is an experimental little theater tucked away in the mini parking lot just left of the main entrance way. No alcohol is allowed inside, but the bar is open in the main club before the Lab Show begins.

Brett Gilbert is one of the producers of the Loaded Deck Comedy Show, along with Michael Magid. He has been seen on "House" and "Bones". He also stared in a pilot for Comedy Central, written by T. Sean Shannon, was a Series Regular on the Martin Short show "Primetime Glick" for 3 seasons, and had a Recurring Role as Deputy Dave on "General Hospital". He was in the Oscar nominated movie "Ghost World" with Scarlett Johanson as well as "Wild Things 2". Brett has been doing stand up comedy for over 10 years and is working on his second album/dvd.
