AYG Underwear Cam App Goes Live on iTunes

Aug. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- West End, NC  – AYG/365’s, a Polarmax brand specializing in high performance underwear, has rolled out a new iPhone app, just in time for Outdoor Retailer and the dog days of summer.

As part of their larger “Overachieveies” marketing campaign, AYG has created an iPhone app— the AYG Underwear Cam. It allows AYG fans and anyone else with a sense of humor to share ”talking underwear photos” across the web. Take a photo with your choice of AYG underwear, then type in  some (possibly compromising) copy into a text bubble. Voila, talking underwear. Pictures can be posted to the AYG website or anyone on your email list.

Working with Milepost 59 mastermind John Zilly, the AYG team “wanted to create something fun and interactive that incorporated AYG underwear, but wasn’t about the purchase, unbelievably,” said Roger Maxey, National Sales Director for AYG/Polarmax. “We wanted to create a connection between this new brand and its target consumer: The young, active, goal-oriented over achiever who likes to have fun.”

“We’re excited to roll this out just in time for Outdoor Retailer,” said John Zilly, creative director at Milepost 59, creators of the Overachieveies campaign and AYG Underwear Cam iPhone app. “With all those witty “overachieveies” in one place at Outdoor Retailer, we think it’s a great place to launch the app. Could be awesome, could be dangerous. Probably both.”
