Aug. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- CHICO, Calif. —Auctiva, the largest third-party provider of eBay selling tools, is giving Facebook fans a chance to win free listing service, coupons to sourcing site AliExpress, free shipping insurance, a custom logo or listing template and much, much more with its "Lights, Camera, Auctiva!" video contest.

The contest, which runs from Aug. 1 through Sept. 30, gives Auctiva's Facebook fans the opportunity to create their own commercial about, upload the video to YouTube and share the link on Auctiva's Facebook wall at Auctiva will choose one grand-prize winner, one first-place winner, a "wackiest entry" and four runners-up, who will all earn several prizes, including free listing service, sourcing coupons, a custom logo or listing template, free Auctiva Shipping Insurance and Auctiva-branded gear. One "People's Choice" winner, which will be based on the number of likes an entry receives on Facebook, will also be named.

"Video can be a very powerful marketing and selling tool," says Communications Manager Robert Green. "We're hoping this contest will encourage sellers to grab a camera, and start shooting and experimenting with film—something they can later add to their listings to stand out from their competition. With this contest, sellers will get valuable experience creating video, and they could win big!"

The grand-prize winner will earn six months on Auctiva's Diamond Plan—a $1,079.70 value—$100 worth of AliExpress coupons, a $100 credit toward Auctiva Shipping Insurance, a custom eBay listing template or custom logo design, and an Auctiva gift bag filled with Auctiva-branded gear.

The first-place winner will earn six month's on Auctiva's Platinum Plan—a $599.70 value—a $100 credit toward Auctiva Shipping Insurance, a custom eBay listing template or custom logo design, and an Auctiva gift bag. The Wackiest Entry will earn a 10-minute phone call with Auctiva founder Jeff Schlicht, a pound of coffee stolen from the Auctiva break room and Auctiva gear. The People's Choice winner will get a year on Auctiva's Unlimited Plan, one year of premium customer support, a $50 credit toward Auctiva Shipping Insurance and an Auctiva gift bag.
